Called Once: 05:35, 30/12/15. Team called out with Borders Water Rescue Team to assist TVMRT evacuate residents living near the River Teviot. We were stood down at 12:20.
Called Twice: 16:00, 30/12/15. Team called out with BWRT to assist TVMRT with severe flooding in Peebles. However, team members were redeployed to prepare for possible evacuations of residents living close to the River Tweed between Kelso and Coldstream as the flood surge from Peebles was expected to impact futher downstream. Thankfully the surge did not impact as expected and the team was stood down at 23:00.
