Who We Are

BorderSAR is the Mountain Rescue Team that covers the south-east of Scotland, including the Lammermuir and Cheviot hill ranges. You can find out more about the team by exploring the website or catching up with us at any of the regular appearances we make at ride-outs, farmers' markets etc.

What We Do

All members of the team are volunteers who are on call 24/7/365 to provide an essential emergency service, not just to hillwalkers, but to the whole community through the wide range of incidents we attend.

What We Need

BorderSAR rely heavily on public donations to exist. There are many ways you can help us: donate money, arrange sponsored events, participate in our Riever Trail Series of fun runs, etc. If you would like to know more, simply contact us - we are always happy to hear from our supporters.
