Update on handover of keys and delays in indoor work
Due to huge rises in costs of materials during the project and restrictions in funding sources, we were unable to proceed to a full internal fit out as originally planned. We are however now moving forward with work to build the internal rooms starting later this month and are proceeding as funds allow. We plan to be operating from the building later this year with a basic internal fit out. We are however still trying to source funds to put in heating and energy saving measures so that we can host training/educational events for local community groups and reduce our running costs.
As with many charities we are finding raising money more difficult and many sources of capital funding are no longer available due to economic constraints and the impact of COVID19 on their activities so we are very grateful for all those who have supported us so far.
