The 'Beast From The East' gave us, TVMRT and Northumberland National Park Mountain Rescue Team plenty of work to do over 4 days. Getting traffic moving, transporting hospital & care staff, getting key council staff in and out of HQ, ambulance assists, delivering prescriptions and oxygen to cut off residents and taking patients to Borders General Hospital and other hospitals.
