How To Support the Team...

The Border Search and Rescue Unit is a charity (SCO 23213) and relies heavily on fundraising to provide the high level of service that we do. Mountain Rescue teams in Scotland receive a small amount of support from the Scottish Executive, although this is not sufficient to cover all of the expenses of running the team, and is not guaranteed for the future. There are a few easy ways to support the team...

Make a donation:

If you would like to make a donation to support the Border Search and Rescue Unit please send it to Secretary BSARU, 3 Sweethope Farm, Stitchill, Kelso, TD5 7RZ.

Cheques should be made payable to the 'Border Search and Rescue Unit'

If you are a UK tax payer you may be entitled to 'gift aid' your donation which means that we can claim an extra 28p from the Government for every £1 of your donation. So if you 'gift aid' your a donation of £20 it would actually be worth £25.60 to us and at no extra cost to you!  To 'gift aid' your donation complete the form below and send it along with you donation.
